Contra Dance in San Rafael

Join us on Saturday November 14, 2026 7pm-10pm for a contra in San Rafael. Jaylinn calling to the lively tunes of Valerie Rose on fiddle and Jason Courtney on mandolin. Gender-neutral role terms.

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin is at 240 Channing Way in San Rafael, about 10 minutes north of the foot of the Richmond-San Rafael bridge just off Hwy 101. At the top of a steep hill; plenty of parking.

Admission $15 NBCDS/BACDS/CDSS members; $20 not-yet-members. First time dancers get in free — arrive at 6:30 pm for a newcomers’ orientation.

* NBCDS dances are fragrance-free events. Please refrain from wearing scented products.
* You are invited to bring snacks to share at the break.
