San Rafael Contra

Contra dance with Kelsey Hartman calling larks-and-robins; tunes by Green Gates: Jon Berger (fiddle), Roxanne Oliva (accordion & flute), & Todd Silverstein (tin whistle, bouzouki, and saxophone). Thanks to Jacki Dunn and Kurt Ellison for managing the dance this evening. Hall is undergoing renovation, but indoor restrooms are available via a short walk outside as well as portable toilets in the parking lot.
We’ll be at the usual location: UUCM (Unitarian Universalist Congregration of Marin) at 240 Channing Way in San Rafael. At the top of a steep hill; plenty of parking.
Admission: $13 NBCDS/BACDS/CDSS members; $15 not-yet-members; $8 pay as you can/limited income. First time dancers get in free — bring your friends & family at 6:30pm for a newcomers’ orientation.
Masks are optional at our contra dance series. If you are not feeling well on the day of the dance, please take care of yourself & the community — stay home and join us another time. Thanks for your support in keeping the transmission of illnesses to a minimum.
