Petaluma Contra Dance and NBCDS 25th Anniversary Party

25th Anniversary Celebration!

The day’s events include English Country Dance, potluck with special presentations, Morris dancers, evening contra dance, prizes (Faultline Frolic weekend pass, dance shoe bags, CD’s, Copperfield’s gift certificate), more!

Band: New Brew: Jane Knoeck (piano, accordion), Eileen Nicholson Kalfass (fiddle), Tom Santarsiero (guitar, mandolin, banjo, jaw harp, foot percussion)

Caller: Susan Petrick

Sound: Marty Brenneis

Beginner’s Lesson at 6:00 p.m.

Prices: $12 NBCDS/CDSS-affiliate members; $14 non-members; $5 under 30, FT students w/ID, and financial hardship; $2 ages 6-17

Note: For this special celebration, admission to the English dance will also give you admission to the potluck and the Contra.

4:45-5:30 pm Dinner- we provide chicken, a vegetarian and vegan entree. And paper plates.
You bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share.
 
5:45-6:15 Speeches and honoring our founders and local heroes- Michael Martin, Kalia Kliban and Jon Berger.
 
6:15 Contra lesson
 
6:30-9:30 Contra Dance

Please note the dance is in the St. John’s Social Hall on C St. between 5th and 6th Streets by the parking lot.
