No experience or partner necessary. Come to the beginners lesson at 1:45. \nParking: The best place to park is the large\, dirt parking area to the left as  you turn onto Almonte Avenue. Please do not park on Wisteria Way or Lavender Lane. The few parking spaces beside the hall are reserved for the caller\, musicians and dance manager. Thank you! \nContributions of finger-food type snacks are appreciated\, if you feel inclined. Bring a water bottle for yourself. \nThe dance is mask optional\, but please remember that if you are not feeling well\, even if you believe it is just a cold\, please take care of yourself and stay home. We want to see you but want to make sure we minimize risks to other dancers.  Attending also requires you to sign in with your name and contact information and agree to notify the NBCDS if you develop Covid within a week of attending the dance.  This is also a fragrance-free event for the health of all our dancers. \nMaggie Moore\, dance manager and series programmer \n  \n  \n

With lovely tunes by the Whimsies: Beth Christian\, Janette Duncan\, & Roxanne Oliva. $13 members/$15 not-yet-members/$20 supporters. $8 limited income. \nBrand new to contra? Attend your first time for free — arrive at 6:30 for a newcomers’ orientation led by our caller.  Experienced dancers will help you learn the moves and partner with you for your first few (several?) dances. Wear comfortable clothes and non-marking shoes — tennis shoes are fine. \n
