SUMMARY:In-person English Country Dance at Wischemann Hall in Sebastopol
DESCRIPTION:Our caller will be Alan Winston with music by Bill Jensen (keyboards) and Rodney Miller (violin).\nBecause of ongoing COVID-19:\n\n\n— There is a limit of 36 attendees\, and preregistration is required. If you preregister and realize you can’t come\, even if it’s right before the dance\, please tell us so we can notify the folks on the waiting list. The managers’ email addresses are tspittler@gmail.com and kwoeltjen@yahoo.com. \n— Masks are required for this dance. Even with the good ventilation of Wischemann Hall\, all dancers will need to wear a good mask. Bandannas and neck gaiters will not be acceptable. \n– Please realize that dancing poses a potential risk\, even to those who are vaccinated. If you have a compromised immune system\, please wait and come when you feel it would be safe. \n– If you are not feeling well the day of the dance please stay home to protect yourself and others. \n— Proof of vaccination must be shown at the door for entry\, no exceptions. We take the health of our dance community seriously. Those of you who came to our July dance and provided proof of vaccination do not need to bring it again. \n— We won’t have the group snack table\, but folks are welcome to bring\ntheir own treats to enjoy during the breaks (2 breaks!). \n— Please bringing your own cup or water bottle.\n— Please avoid wearing any scented products. \nTo preregister\, please email Tom at tspittler@gmail.com. We will confirm you registration or if you are on the waiting list at least one week before the dance. \nThe NBCDS Board is closely following COVID-19 case rates for both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents of Sonoma County\, and if the rate exceeds 8 cases per 100\,000 for vaccinated residents the dance will be cancelled. Dance managers have also been asked to keep a close look at new cases and cancel any dance they believe may be a problem. \nPlease feel free to mention the dance to friends. If your friends have never done English country dancing before\, please wait a bit until you bring them. \nTom Spittler and Kathy Woeltjen\, dance managers\nKalia Kliban\, series programmer \n\n\n
