DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of Gender Neutral contra dance. No more boys/girls or ladies/gents. We use Larks (for the person on the Left)\, and Ravens (for the person on the right). Dance either role\, though new dancers are encouraged to stay with one for the evening. Fun inclusive dance fun for everyone. Just dance with who’s comin’ ‘atcha! Fragrance\, alcohol and attitude free. Sliding Scale-$10-15 PWYC-NOTAFLOF. Supervised children welcome. Please have non scuffing soft soled shoes to protect the floor. New to contra? Please join us half an hour before the dance to learn a few of the figures. Musicians interested in playing standard contra tunes in a low pressure setting should be at the hall at 7PM. Audrey is a professional contra fiddler and Dave is a well know local Irish musician. \n
