Dancing at dawn on Beltane, the 1st of May, is an old agricultural custom in England. After the long winter, May signals the lush blooming of spring and the promise of the summer to come. For a quarter century our community has danced the sun up behind the Sebastopol Community Center Annex. Arrive at 5am to experience the fullness of the transition from the dark to the light.
