NEW: Young Adult (ages 18 – 30) Scholarships

In honor of Marlene Mahan, a vibrant dancer and former board member who passed on this year, we are offering two full scholarships for young adults. If you are interested in applying for this, check the box on your registration form. We will have a lottery to select two recipients from those who have registered by January 15.

Our priority is to register dancers for the whole weekend. If there is still space available as of Friday, March 14, we will open registration for portions of the weekend. We understand that some of you may not have the time or funds to attend full-time — so, stay tuned.

Epicenter COVID Policy

  • Masks are optional for all participants at Epicenter.
  • NBCDS strongly encourages vaccination and current boosters for all participants but we will not be requiring vaccination for this event.
  • All participants must provide evidence of a negative COVID test taken on the day of arrival at the dance hall. An individually-administered rapid test is sufficient, and a photo of your test is suggested. (We will only have a few tests on hand at the door, and we request that you obtain your own test if possible.)
  • Participants agree to notify the Epicenter registrar if they become infected with COVID-19 (test positive or show symptoms) within 5 days after the event. NBCDS will inform participants if a positive case is reported but will not disclose the identity of the infected person(s).
  • Participants agree not to attend Epicenter if they are feeling ill.

This policy may change if the situation warrants, and people will be notified as early as possible.

Your donations to NBCDS help support the cost of events and subsidize scholarships. If you indicated you want to make a donation on your registration form, please use the “Donate” button below.

Rhonda Cayford is the Registrar for this event. If you have questions or problems, email her at: rhonda@cayford.org.
