All Saturday morning, two busses full of Morris Dancers carrying a dozen-odd teams will have traveled hither and yon through Sonoma County, stopping here and there to delight and amaze the local populace. At 1:15 PM, they’ll meet at Ives Park in Sebastopol for lunch, following which each team will present their Show Dance. As the name would suggest, Show Dances are usually something special the team has been working on – a new tradition, a new dance, a new staging of an old dance. The dances will be presented on the Ives Park Stage, and the general public is invited to attend, watch, applaud lustily, etc.
